Celebrities Sleep for a The Homeless this Christmas

There is a new way of helping out the people in need and it comes in what is perhaps the simplest form of unity; sleeping out. And to add some spice to the cause, celebrities will even join the fray, sleeping out at east London’s Spitafield’s market to raise more than £250,000 to help house young homeless people over Christmas. Among the stars expected to join the call are Joe McFadden, Lisa Maxwell and Sara Cox.

More than 200 people are expected to give up their beds for the night in support of the charity, which cares for homeless people aged 16 to 25.

Caucasians Prone to Restless Leg Syndrome

Apparently race has a bearing on how a sleep disorder characteristic attacks. Restless Leg Syndrome or RLS has been found to hit Africa-American women more based on a study presented at CHEST 2009. While the study may have shown how ethnic origin plays a role on this issue, exact causes were unknown. Women were found to be more iron deficient and have rheumatoid arthritis which were risk factors associated with RLS.
