Rainy Days Bring Sleepy Spells
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 23rd, 2007 in How to sleep better, Sleep Myths.
The best climate for people to enjoy sleep is perhaps when they have nothing to do due to some natural limitations such as rains and storms. In these cases, people would usually find themselves in their homes left with little things to do. Among them include that of being groggy and ending up simply want to get some sleep even for some short spells. A lazy resort for sure, but given the circumstances, people are really left with limited options.
Cold climates will surely make any person groggy. Who wouldn’t? Anyone would want the best atmospheric setup possible and rains bring in the cold spells anyone can simply sleep along with. Hopefully though people do not forget that being left idle would mean less production and their professional careers may end up being left in the dark.

Dizzy Spells and Sleepy Heads
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 22nd, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP Psychology, Sleep Disorders.
Hold on. Just because you experience dizzy spells wherein you may want to simply drop dead at times doesn’t mean that there is something diagnostically wrong with your health. For one thing, have you asked yourself if you have gotten the proper amount of sleep?
Chances are, the cause for such dizzy spells would be fatigue and abusing your body. Bodies need proper rest periods which we solicit from observing proper sleeping habits. While people have to do extended working hours and stuff, the fact remains that our bodies need a break at times.
People sometimes become hard-headed. It would not matter to them if they get sick or ill. But the truth of it all, we will feel the effects of such bodily abuse. Let us just hope that once that happens, it will not be the time when sleep is the only thing prevailing over such standing issues.

Are You Susceptible to Cardiac Arrest?
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 22nd, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP News.
One of the things that people are unaware of when they sleep is that of potential health risks and hazards such as heart related problems such as cardiac arrest. People know what to do or where to go when they are conscious. But what does a person do when he is asleep and is unknowingly suffering from it. The whole ordeal is left up to how a person entirely takes care of himself.
Banking on physician’s advice is a good measure to satisfy this obvious predicament. People may not be able to notice such health disorders, but they can do preventive maintenance measures with the aid of doctors on hand. Various tests and observation can be done on a person and this is the best way to identify if a person has indeed been suffering from such a problem.
It is better to act in advance than wait for a person in not being able to get up. It is the best way to prevent potential heart risks such as cardiac arrest.

Do you suffer from Sleep Inertia?
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 21st, 2007 in How to sleep better, Sleep Disorders.
People may sometimes find themselves in awe, thinking of a way to be able to gather their senses and put everything in perspective to satisfy expectations in various tasks that include school and work. Sleep inertia is an offshoot of grogginess where people are groping for form to gather their senses and take on tasks to be carried out in the usual manner they should be.
Anyone can suffer from this daily. Many would ignore such a state but the truth of it all is that they do experience it during times. Ideally this can come from oversleeping or when a person would be awakened from a deep slumber, something that is proof that people have yet to realize that they are walking in reality and not anymore in their fantasy world of dreams.
Hence, the next time, people should take into consideration of trying to recover their bearing before carrying out anything that they would want to do. It is better that way since safety and proper execution of tasks is critical for people who need to adhere towards various tasks expected from them.
