Unfortunately, this includes having to initially give up some sleep whenever a child wakes up in the middle of the night. Some may not be too inclined, calling it stressful but they should also consider that kids normally have to be monitored and attended to during their infant years. It is not too much to ask. The joy of having a child is indeed exciting for all. But when it comes to the part of responsibility, for sure sleep will be at the tops of the list of deprived privileges that people once used to have. Many find it hard to sleep if they are in this stage. This may sound weird but the truth behind it is that people who are used to being hyperactive would tend to look for the various activities that would make them click. Hence, once a person is free from doing anything and has his bed as the only object he sees, chances are he will not immediately go to sleep. A mixture of excitement and high adrenaline rush is still existent and chances are the person would still be looking for means to be doing something rather than lying back and resting his laurels. In a way, sleep deprivation stems from over-fatigue. People just can’t believe that they have done so much.
